About Victoria Rice
ricepaper is run by Victoria Rice, a contemporary artist and illustrator based in Moray, Scotland. Her work is rooted in the seasons and natural world with a particular interest in conservation, birds and British species, both native and visiting. She loves to experiment with colour and seeks to coax out the dancing, fleeting glimpses of pigment and iridescence that surprise and astonish us in nature. After graduating with a film and television degree from Glasgow University, Victoria has spent her time living in Peru, Japan, Spain and London, soaking up all the creativity and joie de vivre around whilst refining her drawing, painting and digital art practice. She hopes to create a sense of appreciation and reverence for the world around us in the art she creates. Artwork is available as high quality cards, postcards, prints and originals. Where possible recycled materials are used and packaging is kept to a minimum in an effort to reduce the impact on the environment.
